ABC ordered to pay $500,000 in defamation damages

In 2003, a NSW Supreme Court jury found that an ABC-TV Four Corners program broadcast in 1995 was defamatory of me and biologist Jeremy Griffith, a fellow patron of the World Transformation Movement (formerly the Foundation for Humanity's Adulthood). On 1 August 2008, some 13 years after the program went to air, the NSW Supreme Court ordered the ABC to pay almost $500,000 in damages for the defamatory report.
